“Real Life” Action Figures
Who should be remembered as a hero? For this project it’s real people, not cartoons. Mike sculpted his first prototype for the Brooklyn toy company FCTRY in 2010. Since ramping up in 2016, Mike’s now sculpted dozens of FCTRY prototypes, mostly in polymer clay, a few digitally. Except for the Banksy figure set (sold out), each “Real Life” figure is produced by FCTRY and stands 6 inches tall. Most are still in production, Mike offers hand-signed editions from his shop and customizes one-of-a-kind versions as seen below.
