2 tons of product was transported by the pallet wood that was used to fabricate this nod to disposable culture. And yet the giant wad of plastic known as the toddler car endures. This wood carving has moving parts. It can transport a small child, albeit without the unknowable amount of safety precautions the original must’ve endured. Made strictly from the wood of four (4) salvaged pallets, including the solid-ply wheels, the door opens and steering wheel turns. The “gas” cap also opens to fill up the “tank.”
This large wood carving includes a metal plaque and low-rise exhibition pedestal (pictured) to free stand on the floor and display this piece. Pedestal measures 42 x 24 x 9 in / 107 x 61 x 23 cm, 19 lbs.
Please note: This is a sculpture, not a child’s toy. This is unsafe for any child to use without strict adult supervision. This wood carving is sturdy enough to hold up to 100 pounds of weight, but it is heavy. The weight rolling over a toe is the highest risk of injury, among others.
