“Penny Places”

Luck has a way of working around any sense of control. It’s obvious when this doesn’t work out. Here’s one way it does. These landscapes painted on found U.S. 1-cent copper coins - aka ‘lucky pennies’ - are little bits of everyday serendipity. On the penny face itself, Mike’s painted the actual location where he found it.

Mike has also incorporated larger landscape paintings to highlight the same location as the found penny.
